Notes - Home shirt as worn when the R's could not maintain their Premier League status despite huge investment ahead of the campaign. The side endured a miserable campaign, largely due to their bloated squad. Harry Redknapp took over as boss mid-season to try turn the club's fortunes around but even with bringing in Loic Remy and Chris Samba it proved a hapless task. Taarabt was the centre piece of the side, featuring more than any other player with and bagging five goals as well as assisting another five. Two of the Moroccans' goals came in the sides first win of the season over West London rivals Fulham, with his performance being described as "one of the all-time great performances" by Redknapp
