Notes - The 1980s were a sensational time for Real Madrid with Los Blancos dominating the Spanish football scene. With Barcelona losing key stars Madrid capitalised having won the Urfa Cup twice early on in the decade, but more was yet to come. This 1986-88 classic defined the era winning La Liga during both seasons wearing the Hummel designed trip that they were so synonymous with in one of their greatest eras. They added a Supercopa de Espana in 1988 under the management of Leo Beenhakker and the guidance of superstars such as Jorge Valdano, Emilio Butragueno and lethal Mexican striker Hugo Sanchez.
